Type of Plant/Description: Blooming plant. Beautiful flowers that sprout from the center corm. The blossoms
turn back on
themselves leaving a butterfly-like pose with the petals.
Light
Requirements: Moderately
Bright light, near a sunny window, but not direct light.
Watering Needs: Moderately moist. Water daily, under the foliage or from the bottom. Do not let stand in
water.
Temperature requirements: Around
65 degrees during the day and not below 50 degrees at night.
Additional Information: Deep green heart-shaped leaves with silvery veining make this a pretty foliage plant
when the blossoms have faded. Normal blooming period is December to April, but
I have seen their blooming period last much longer, and we can obtain blooming
cyclamens year round.
